Trisha Krishnan, often simply known as Trisha, is one of the most celebrated actresses in the Indian film industry, predominantly known for her work in Tamil and Telugu cinema. Born on May 4, 1983, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, Trisha comes from a Tamil Brahmin family. 

Her father, Krishnan, worked as a general manager at a five-star hotel, and her mother, Uma Krishnan, is a homemaker. Trisha grew up in a supportive environment where education and cultural values were highly emphasized.Trisha completed her schooling at the Sacred Heart Matriculation School in Church Park, Chennai, where she was an exemplary student, excelling in academics and extracurricular activities. Known for her vibrant and friendly personality, Trisha was actively involved in school events and was particularly passionate about sports and dance. Her inclination towards arts and performance was evident from a young age, which later paved the way for her entry into the world of glamour and cinema.After completing her schooling, Trisha enrolled in Ethiraj College for Women in Chennai, where she pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree. Trisha has been the Goodwill Ambassador of PETA.
 In 2010, Trisha Encourage People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) in issuing a public appeal to domesticate stray dogs rather than craving for pedigreed foreign breeds.
She was also the Goodwill Ambassador for the “Angel for Animals” campaign organised by PETA in 2010, encouraging people to adopt homeless dogs.
