This is perhaps Kalki's most famous work, a historical novel set in the Chola dynasty period. It is a multi-volume saga that revolves around the power struggles, conspiracies, and political intrigue within the Chola empire. It is divided into five parts:

Sivakamiyin Sabadham (சிவகாமியின் சபதம்)
This is another historical novel, set in the Pallava dynasty period. It tells the love story of the sculptor, Narasimhavarman, and the beautiful dancer, Sivakami, against the backdrop of historical events.
Alai Osai (அலை ஓசை)
